tupac would sometimes record 3 versions of his songs. rather than just cutting out the curse words he would completely rewrite his lyrics. he would record 1. unedited 2. radio edit 3. video edit..but this was only for his singles. i know what you mean tho. the actual music is different as well as the music and his delivery is altered from the album versions. this was obviously a video edit. check the video for "to live and die in L.A." its the same story.
