Great job! Most people have no idea how hard it is to left that much weight that many times. But after I did 225lbs I did a dunk mixtape and tore a pec.lol

you dont know much about lifting if youre still sitting here complaining about how bad his "form" was when everyone who actually knows a thing or two about lifting is impressed

i find it absolutely hilarious how you cant even max this and you feel the need to post 30 posts about how this kid has "bad form"....bad form eh....lol. id say lets see you do this with "good form" then but i have a feeling youll cry and make excuses like you always do. you have too much fucking pride to admit youre wrong and just give up when everyone that posts here agrees youre a fucking retard and to shutup

Oh I understand that these "reps" were combine-approved. But that's not what the argument is about. It's real simple.1) Guy picks up weight.2) Guy lifts weight halfway up a bunch of times.3) Guy puts weight down. Not much there. Don't get me wrong. It's real cool what he did and all, and *I* would do the same thing if I was at the combine. But don't be claiming that what he's doing is as difficult as a real rep. ;)

"you know absolutely nothing"I obviously know the difference between good form and bad form. =P Close to lockout? You must be joking.Oh, and I don't even know if I can MAX 225. I haven't tried in awhile. See the thing is "timmytoughguy", strength training isn't my deal. I don't like doing it, and I don't really benefit from it. However, I don't NEED to in order to tell if someone is performing a simplified version of a rep. Understand?

You fail to understand that these were more than acceptable at the nfl combine. Listen, pick a weight that YOU can handle on the bench for as many as 30-40 reps with the same form as this guy and try doing that. Maybe then you will appreciate the strength and power it takes to rep a weight like 225. If you don't fully comprehend the subject at hand you shouldn't continue to argue with everyone here.

the internet has everything to do with this. you max 225 and youre telling a kid who just repped it 34 times how to bench "properly" on the internet behind a youtube alias. because apparently he needs you advice when he just blew everyone at the combine out of the water. those reps were fine, close to lockout and minimal bounce. then you go ahead and say hed get only 20 with "proper form" give your ego a rest and just fuck off. youre a weak clown. you know absolutely nothing

18 to 22? are you fucking stupid. oh my god im gunna lose my fucking mind trying to explain this. yet again. his reps were not bad, he went almost to lockout and had minimal bounce. you are a weak skinny faggot, you know nothing about lifting, absolutely NOTHING, you can only max what he just did 34 times, you think his reps will drop down to 20 by simply going up a couple more inches (if even that) and by using less "bounce" you dont powerlift, and you max 225, you are a form critic, a weak one

The Internet has nothing to do with this. Half reps are half reps, whether done on YouTube or in real life.I lift, and I don't agree those reps were awesome. He's obviously very strong, but it's equally obvious that he'd probably be able to do 18-22 reps with full ROM.Nobody said anything about locking elbows. This discussion is about using full ROM when performing an exercise, which is unarguably more difficult than what this person is doing. And yes, you are getting emotional. ;)

"If you want to make as outlandish statement to say that half-reps are just as difficult as full reps, then the burden of proof lies with you." lmao hahaha easy there sherlock. wow ive never seen someone this determined to criticize a kid who just repped 225 34 times. like are you getting what im saying here? the kid has some nice reps. anyone who lifts can agree those res were awesome especially for a combine and doing 34 of them. wow, the beauty of the internet eh tough guy? nice life...

when repping it is essential to not lock out the elbows. consistently locking out the elbows on 34 consecutive reps takes tension off the muscles and puts the elbows in a vulnerable position (locked out). it does not matter that you think he "bounced" these reps. he just benched 225 34 times. if you think he should be using picture perfect form at a combine youre fucking retarded. you only criticize what you dont understand. you max this and you are critiquing an insanely strong kid
