What categories ? Getting a girl? The ZR1 unlike this car is not even track specific. Both cars are awesome, but one is way more expensive, the Porsche, and one is really better in all car tests and that would be the ZR1. Imagine if Chevy were to add 40 hp and lose 100 or more pounds, it would be unbeatable, period.

turbo is more of grand tourer with amazing speed while the gt3 is a track beast. zr1 probably faster but the porsche is better in almost all other catergories

well butch the Zr1 is more powerful than any of the porsches, but i would not be suprised if you could take a GT2 and beat the ZR1. A super charged V8 vs. a V10 it would be quite the race. I have my money on the porsche.

I never have, but I would like to. I am just considering from a power persective and the new PDK and Porsche Torque Vectoring and Dynamic engine mount system and how they would affect the 911 Turrbos lap time, but can any Porsche beat a ZR1 around a track?

what a great car. must be a real hoot to slide/drift out of a corner! it appears the std exhaust has a very nice sound. Agreed on the music, no idea why Porsche does that. On the 997 GT3 first official release they allowed us to get a sense of the car through more engine noise, which I can say, as a former (sadly) GT3 996 owner, its one of the key things that brings smiles per mile.

Which car do you think would be faster around the N-ring: the new 911 Turbo or the new GT3 RS? I love them both, but I can't decide which one I like better. Does Porsche have any cars that can beat the ZR1 around a track? I just can't grasp how fast it is around a track, or am I missing something when I say that it could be the best car ever for its price? I still like porches the best though, highest quality and still extremely good for their price.
