johnrainrules - Every man must make an effort to rise to humanness, shedding his animal and demonic qualities, and then strive to realise his divine nature. Nowadays, we find that men are going down in the reverse direction, from the human to the demonic and animal states.

johnrainrules - You must see that desire and hatred do not get lodged in the mind. Bear no ill-will towards anyone. Avoid the company of those who are evil-minded. By cultivating the company of the good, you can raise yourself, because your bad qualities get diluted by association with the good, like sewage water when it enters the sea.

Ah 4bbc there is another difference between science and your brand of "spirituality". Children can learn science without being raped by your spiritual leader Sai Baba.

Were you referring to the poll that included all those who call themselves Christians or not? Did you claim that this means they all reject evolution or not?If you answer yes to both questions this means that you are asserting that all who claim to be christian reject evolution.

@Onithyr You said "all people who call themselves theists/Christians reject evolution" Iam done you wont tell the truth

"I never said people who call themselves Christians"The poll you were referring to included all who did, thus you were by referring to the poll. Unless of course you are saying that you were lying about what the poll claims. If your definition of "Christian" only includes those who reject evolution, then the majority of those in the poll you mentioned were not Christians (as other polls demonstrate through surveyed acceptance of evolution).

"you have nothing to bring to the table"Except to point out the fact that you lied when you claimed that 70% of Americans reject evolution, and when you claimed that all people who call themselves theists/Christians reject evolution.

4bbc says "Scientists hold the view that matter is convertible into energy and vice versa. But, in fact, the two are not separate. They are inseparably interlinked and interdependent."Ummm, that's the same thing. Matter becomes energy, energy becomes matter, they are inseparably linked and interdependent. Scientists DON'T try to divide matter and energy. e=mc^2

"70% of people in U.S. believe in God and there for dont believe in evolution"You ignore that most people who believe in God also believe in Evolution. Only the crackpot minority Young Earth Creationist movement have problems with evolution.Sure, 70% believe in God. But at least 70% also accept evolution.

"and there for dont believe in evolution"See, that right there is where you lied. No poll ever claimed such a connection, and in fact all pols that asked demonstrated the opposite of your claim.

johnrainrules - The fundamental difference between science and spirituality is this: Science is concerned with investigating the external phenomenal universe. Spirituality is engaged in exploring the inner workings of the Divine. The scientist is one who has an external vision. The one who has an internal vision is a saint.

wysiwyg666 - Likewise, matter and energy have existed from the time of creation. Both are comprehended by the mind only. When the mind functions in relation to the Divine it acquires the form of energy. When the mind is turned towards Nature, the latter assumes the form of matter.

Onithyr - Scientists are not examining the relationship between matter and energy in the correct way.Scientists hold the view that matter is convertible into energy and vice versa. But, in fact, the two are not separate. They are inseparably interlinked and interdependent. The attempts to divide matter and energy have given rise to many doubts and confusions.

"a theory/an assumption"Thank you for demonstrating that either you do not understand the difference between the colloquial and scientific definitions of the term "theory", or that you are dishonest enough to make such a blatant equivocation.
