Yes I'm sure. The Mets have won two World Series: 1969 against the Baltimore Orioles, and also, 1986 against the Boston Red Sox.

Jesse Orosco was not in the team photo that begins this montage. He was pasted in between Howard Johnson and Kevin Mitchell, 3rd row, 3rd from left (not including guy in business suit). I'd like to hear from Met fans who have some idea where Orosco was when this photo was taken. I want dates, circumstances, explanations! Thank you.

Are you sure the Mets won the Series in 1986? I thought the Red Sox lost it.

That's why this current team should bring back some of the same magic the 86 team had and use some of the former players as the new coaches such as Wally Backman or Tim Teufel! Both are doing great and Wally was almost lost to another team not too long ago. This video shoud be shown to ALL current Mets players to show them how it's really done! Forget the drugs and boozing as I know that was rampant on this team. But you cannot deny that the 86 Mets team was talented beyond their wildest dreams

The also would've beaten them in that year's World Series. For anyone to say that they couldn't is just an arrogant Yankee fan or is just not a baseball fan! This team had everything you could ask for and their farm club was one of the best in the majors! It was the same page the Yankees followed that gave them their last 4 World Series and still has them going to this day! Sadly, this is what the current team lacks immensely! No spirit, no desire to win, and no intelligence in the front office!

I couldn't agree with you more Armorama! This team had so much talent it was scary. Imagine if Davey Johnson would've had more control of the players instead of letting them get away with what they did. This team could've wiped the field with ANY team including those lucky Dodgers, with their steroid pumped Kirk Gibson! How else could he have jacked that ball over the fence in his condition?!? This team was so young and so good, I'd say they were better than the '98 Skan..er..Yanks!

They should show the real 86 Mets, doing blow, banging hookers, drinking like fishes, and abusing their wives.
