The Rust Curtain gained many benefits since they were able to threw receivers to the floor at the snap and there was no Illegal Contact, and the Offensive linemen didn't have the same freedom they did as the time during the '85 Bears. They went 2-1, losing in the Super Bowl.1985 Bears scored 91 points and allowed 10 in three games with two consecutive shut outs. They went 3-0, winning the Super Bowl.I think it's clear that Bears come out on top. As a matter of fact, given the statistical dominance, the 2007 Patriots shouldn't even be in the discussion.
