Very cool'I'm all for "Catch and Release"...I usually bring a camera and photo the fish and then release it. Pisses a lot of people off, but i don't care.I'm gonna buy a camcorder so I can record the fish and have the experience forever.

Well what he said is technically true. Also heartsplaya2 was right, all though obvious he was right. That fish was really old,and the older the fish sometimes the bigger.

Actually, catfish have been known to just try bait with out people even feeling nibbles. The hook size and barbes help but aren't the main thing. What some people do is use a device that tells you when something is nibbling on it or not. Like when they nibble on it it will flash and blink. The louder it blinks the harder the bite. It just runs through the line. Mostly people fishing for catfish, guar, Buffalo(massive fish I catch here in AL, usa), and even bass. Great catch man keep at it.
